Trail History |
The trail adopts the name from a local business in Livermore's history. The Cresta Blanca winery is on the south end of Arroyo road in Livermore, less than a mile from the Del Valle dam. The site is now the Wente Vineyards Visitor's Center, where the restaurant is located and where the concert series takes place.
The winery was established around 1882 by Charles Wetmore. He planted cuttings from France in his vineyard. |
