Job well done to all the scouts who earned their Geology belt loop and Academic pin at the Gem & Mineral Festival this past weekend!

This year Scouts of all ages from as far away as southern California made the trip to become crew members for two days and one night on the aircraft carrier Hornet. There is so much to see and learn about this historic ship. We did our best to have fun and learn at the same time.

Our special friend and docent, Orv Bar, did an outstanding job teaching us about the way this ship works and what it has accomplished. From the flight simulator to the engine room, hangar deck, flight deck, catapult room, munitions magazines, combat control, navigation and last but not least the "Bridge"

Pack meeting 3.31.2015

Pack 110 had a great meeting pack meeting on Tuesday with some new agenda items that will be part of all pack meetings going forward. Here are a few of them:

Sign-in: we'll be tracking all pack/den meeting attendance so we can reward those who are committed to cub scouts.
Birthdays: we will be singing the happy birthday song to all the scouts for the month.
Treasure Box: each den leader gets to select the best behaved scout in their den at each pack meeting to grab a toy from the Treasure box.
Pre-game: we will have a fun pre-meeting game for those who come early or on time.
Outside game: weather is warming up. We'll be heading out during the meeting to have some fun.
Songs & skits: all dens should come prepared to perform a skit. We will also have a song to sing as a pack.
